Summer Sandlot - Summer 2026
?? WeMo Softball Summer Sandlot / Intro to Softball ??
Starting Sunday, May 31, WeMo Softball will be hosting Summer Sandlot sessions every other week through June and July!
This program is designed as a fun, relaxed introduction to softball for:
• New players wanting to learn the game
• Younger girls preparing for their first season
• Players moving up into a new division wanting extra reps and confidence before fall ball
Our main focus will be on newer 6U players, but we will gauge interest for all age groups depending on participation.
What to Expect:
• Intro to softball fundamentals
• Fun sandlot-style games & activities
• Hitting, throwing, fielding, and teamwork basics
• Low-pressure environment focused on development and confidence building
• Great opportunity to stay active and continue developing during the summer

This is also a great opportunity for anyone interested in getting into coaching or helping around the field. You’ll be able to work alongside experienced coaches in a relaxed environment designed to help both players and volunteer coaches grow.
Perfect opportunity to:
• Learn drills and practice organization
• Develop coaching confidence
• Be around experienced coaches
• Help grow the game for younger girls at WeMo
No elite coaching resume required — just positivity, effort, and willingness to help kids learn and have fun
